Lighting Manufacturer Receives Award for Promotional Video Excellence

EverLast® Lighting Receives Horizon Interactive Award in Partnership with CV Media

JACKSON, MICHIGAN – August 25th, 2014 – The Horizon Interactive Awards is a prestigious international competition recognizing outstanding achievement among interactive media producers. The competition recognizes and awards the best websites, videos, online advertising, print media and mobile applications. Each year, the Horizon Interactive Awards receives thousands of entries from all over the world.  A panel of industry professionals, from diverse multi-media, graphic design and marketing backgrounds, review the entries to determine the work that is to be recognized.  Entries are given a Gold, Silver, Bronze, and in some cases honorable mention award distinctions.  This year EverLast® Lighting, in partnership with CV Media, received a Bronze award for their “Everlast Highbay Illustration Video”.

CV Media, one of Michigan's leaders in video production, animation, and web design, partnered with EverLast® in early 2013 and began working on a series of marketing videos including the lighting manufacturer’s commercial lines.  “Buying induction lighting technology is an education process for new customers,” commented Kyle Leighton, Director of Public Relations at EverLast® Lighting, Inc.  “We needed an innovative, new, fun medium to introduce the technology to our industry and CV Media had the exact kind of video solutions that we were looking for.”

The 12th annual, international competition had over 1,600 entries from 24 countries and almost all of the 50 United States making this award competition one of the biggest and most competitive ever.  The judges consist of professionals from graphic design, diverse multi-media and marketing backgrounds.  CV Media, and EverLast® Lighting were notified in May of their recognition.  “We couldn’t be more pleased with the effort that CV Media put into completing these projects.  They truly were innovative, and quick to meet deadlines,” stated Brandon Marken, VP of Marketing at EverLast® Lighting, Inc.

In September CVMedia will be celebrating their 20th year in business and will present Kyle Leighton, EverLast®’s PR Director, with the award at an open house during the evening on Thursday, September 18th.  “We're very proud of the work we produce and are truly thankful for EverLast®’s trust in CVMedia as their video production company.  Without Brandon and Kyle's help throughout the creative process, this award could not have been possible,” explained Ryan Carroll, Sales and Project Manager at CV Media.

CVMedia submitted 5 additional projects for consideration, and won an award for all 5. The categories that CV Media were awarded in include; promotional video, viral video and motion graphics/effects.  “We are very proud to be recognized for our video production work. This year took us by surprise and we received 3 Silver Awards and 3 Bronze awards.  The great thing about this is that all of our editors were able to enter projects they edited/created. 6 of our projects entered and all 6 won awards,” stated Carroll.  “CVMedia would like to thank the Horizon Interactive Awards, all of the people involved with voting for our videos and we would like to especially thank our talented editors, Mike Rozman, Leroy Colson, Eric Grzyb and Brian Thieme.  We look forward to entering in 2014.”
