Planet Fitness Selects Induction Light Fixtures across National Locations

EverLast® Lighting Lowers Energy Consumption, Improves Aesthetics and Security at Fitness Centers

 

JACKSON, MICHIGAN – March 5th, 2013 – Planet Fitness Inc., based in Newington, New Hampshire, is an American franchise consisting of 500 fitness centers across the United States.  Each center features exercise equipment, and personal trainers for the members benefit.  In addition, the brand markets itself as a “Judgement Free Zone” to enhance member experience.  Over the past year, the national fitness franchise identified a need for a massive lighting overhaul at several of the U.S. locations.  In an effort to increase energy efficiency, aesthetics, and security at multiple Planet Fitness locations, the franchise relied on EverLast® and several Lighting Representative Firms to provide lighting solutions that would meet each facility’s specification process.

The EverLast® induction lighting fixtures provide a more natural and high color rendition light quality unlike traditional metal halide fixtures.  In addition, the fixtures come with a 10 year warranty and are also available with a dimmable option, providing even more energy savings while areas are vacant.

As a result, Planet Fitness, Inc. moved forward on lighting installations with EverLast® fixtures over the span of 2012 at their locations Sterling Heights, Michigan, Bay City, Michigan, Warwick, Rhode Island, Evansville, Indiana, Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Harrisonburg, Virginia, two in Jacksonville, Florida, and Miami, Florida.  Each installation included 200 watt Huron Aluminum high bay, 200 watt Houghton Aluminum low bay models from EverLast® product line for building interiors.
