EverLast® Lighting Exceeds Specification Standards, and Is Used In Facility
Lighting Upgrade
JACKSON,
MICHIGAN – April 10th, 2014 – Pita Pan, LLC, located in Chicago,
Illinois, has established itself as a leading supplier of Pita and flat bread
to restaurant chains and wholesale bakery customers throughout North America. Last year, Pit Pan began searching for
options to reduce energy consumption and immediately recognized lighting
efficiency as the quickest means to do so.
In the spring,
the company cooperatively worked with Crescent Electric Supply, and KSA
Lighting to seek out a commercial lighting solution that would meet their
facility codes while improving illumination, and significantly lowering energy
costs. Besides energy efficiency,
Everlast was chosen for its easily accessible maintenance features.
“Crescent
Electric provides solutions to our customers by understanding their business,
anticipating their needs, and collaborating with them,” commented Tom Jensen,
Manager of Digital Marketing at Crescent Electric Supply. “Our solutions are delivered in the form of
world-class products and services combined with a thorough understanding of
their application.”
Pita Pan went
on to replace 279 400 watt high pressure sodium fixtures with EverLast®
induction 250 watt IP65 Aluminum High Bay fixtures that produce an equivalent
light output allowing them to achieve maximum savings.
“When the project was complete, the lighting
fixtures performed beyond our expectations,” said James Lock, manager of Energy
Business Development for Crescent Electric Supply Company. “The building
had low and high areas and the EverLast fixtures distributed light evenly
whether they were installed at more than 40 feet or 10 feet.”
EverLast® induction light fixtures are 50-70% more energy
efficient than HIDs and last up to 100,000 hours, making them virtually
maintenance free for up to 15 years. The EverLast® 250 watt IP65
High Bay fixtures provide a more natural and high color rendition light quality
unlike traditional HID fixtures.
EverLast® induction lighting fixtures are also available with a dimmable
option, providing even more energy savings while areas are vacant.
The EverLast® High Bay fixtures are commonly used in
large scale facilities and can be found installed in COBO Hall in Detroit,
Michigan, the Tulsa Expo Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Lambeau Field, home of
the Green Bay Packers in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
